Hello all! I've got a single 220v line feeding my slide-in oven. Starting a remodel soon where the new built in oven and microwave are wall mount and the induction cooktop is in an island. Would I have issues code-wise splitting off another line from the current junction box into the island to power the cooktop? Thanks and any advice is welcome!

generally speaking, fixed appliances should go on its own dedicated circuit. That aside for discussion, what is the combined amp draw from each appliance? How does that compare with the amp rating on the current circuit.

A electrician will be along with the code issues

Standard receptacles cannot be fed from greater than a 20 amp circuit. Also the current line does not have the needed neutral. You need a new circuit.
