Hello. I need some suggestions with the following setup. I have a sliding glass door which used to have a combination curtain/flourescent light setup. I took it down and plan to install vertical blinds. I don't like flourescent bulbs and have been trying to find something else to replace them with. From the top of my sliding glass to the ceiling is about 15.5 inches. The Headrail for the vertical blind is 3.75 inches so that would leave me with about 11.75 inches space from the top of the headrail to the ceiling. About 5 inches down from the ceiling on the wall I have an outlet plate which was installed horizontally (and which the flourescent unit was plugged into). That means I would have 4 inches from the bottom of this outlet plate to the top of the headrail. What kind of lighting, trak lighting, LED, etc. could I install into this small space between the ceiling and top of the headrail without having to worry about it burning my blinds? I don't need a lot of light but I'd like to have some lighting. I went to HD and Lowe's and wasn't impressed by what they had and the halogen trak lighting they did have was very hot. Thanks
