And no, this isn't spam or a referral link, it's just ****ing awesome!

For a 2" tee, $1.45:

Home Depot Price, $2.96:

And shipping on 200 tee's is $15, which I'm guessing is way less than the real charge - 200 tees are going to cost a ton to ship.

Anyway, I'll let you guys know when I get my tee's, but so far everything seems awesome. They just have PVC type stuff, no copper or PEX or anything.

Other point of this thread - where do you buy fittings / is Home Depot a ripoff? Sometime they seem really cheap, but certain things (ie: router bits) seem to be ungodly expensive. I was able to get a set of 45 carbide router bits for $60 on eBay, at HomeDepot there like $20 EACH. Same type thing for fostner bits.

What are you using 2" Schedule 40 tees for? (These are pressure tees, not DWV).
Hydroponic garden. I could have got away with different ones probably, but since the other fittings I get locally will be schedule 40, I figured I'd just get these and have them match.

Hope these guys are quick about shipping - even HD took a week to get a big order of fittings in though.

Well be sure you wear eye protection when using those bits, and remember you get what you pay for.

I've used them quite a bit, even through thin steel. Most everything you buy is coming out of some factory in China for a few cents - retail markup is like %50 after it's imported, probably like %80-90 all totaled.

That said, I'll let you guys know how there ship time / service is.

!!!!

THESE GUYS ARE SOOOO AWESOME!

Fittings are just as good as the ones at homedepot - and the order was half the price! I was kind of nervous, because the price was so low and I never heard of the company, but it's all legit.

Order came in FIVE boxes - they had to ship it below-cost, the cardboard boxes were probably ten bucks.

What is the name of the company?

Interesting. They claim everything is made in North America. But they don't say by whom. May be OK for your "tomato" grow operation, but I don't think I'd plumb my house with them.
They ship from PA - I talked to a guy to make sure my order was shipping.

It's weird how much people try and associate price with quality. Price generally has more to do with markup and how many times something has been resold than how good it is. The $5 Ben and Jerry's at the gas station isn't better than the $3 Ben and Jerry's at walmart.

PVC fittings are damn near a commodity - you can put this tee beside a Lasco and not be able to tell the difference (except these don't have Lasco molded into the plastic)

Home Depot is probably only paying $.70-1 for a $3 fitting - maybe not even that since there so large.
