Hi,
Another round of simple questions:

1. Are there any requirements on what I use to bring bare #6 wire into my main panel for grounds? I was just going to use the regular screw down ones for NM cable. (I'm talking about the bushings that bring it through the panel itself, not where it terminates. I don't know the term(s) for the part.)

2. Are there any rules or just general guidelines as to how many wires you can run through holes in joists as I'm stringing wiring in my basement ceiling? For example, 3 x 12-2 per 7/8" hole, 2 x 12-2 per 1/2" hole etc.

Thanks.

Some jurisdictions require the use of a Kenny clamp, others allow the 1/4" hole in the bottom of the panel.

Derating issues may need to be taken into consideration depending on the number of cables thru the same holes.

Do you have a link to a place where I can reference de-rating tables?
