1. On every three prong plug I see, there are holes in the ends of the power and neutral prongs. What are those holes for?
2. What's the difference between hospital grade duplex receptacles, commercial grade duplex receptacles and regular residential grade duplex receptacles? My understanding is that residential grade receptacles have brass plated steel screws for the power connection and commercial grade have solid brass screws for the power connection. What more does a hospital grade duplex receptacle offer other than a red dot? And do they all use nickel plated steel screws for the neutral connection?
