I just completed refinishing all the oak wood floors in a ranch house from 1954. I installed prefinished oak baseboard. Now I realize those old hollow core doors look awful. Along with that ugly pine case moulding.
I want to buy some pre hung solid wooden doors. I saw oak doors at bigbox, raised panel, they were pretty nice. My first question is, what type of door would look nice? I will consider pine, but some sort of hardwood in the 200 dollar range. Could I buy a pre finished door? Or better to do it myself?
