I don't know which to tackle first. My gutters sag in the middle, some have come away from the studs, water leaks all over the place. I've paid 3 contractors who didn't fix the problems. What soffit vents exist, are partially covered by external trim and while investigating in the attic, the openings are just rectangle holes, less than half the size of the vents, with lots of sharp pieces sticking everywhere. My front entry has rotted, window trim has rotted, on the front and back of my house. My house faces due North, no porch or cover over my front door, 2 story front with palladium window over the entry which includes door, side panels and transom over the door.
My stoop has come away from the house which is another matter for a later post.
Any ideas?

Toss up the pics, 1 picture is worth a thousand words.
If you have improperly installed gutters, and leaking, they just need to come down and be properly hung or replaced as needed.

Water is the #1 enemy of a home, need to take each individual case and eliminate the source of the water to to stop the rot from coming back. Ans of course you want to remove and replace all rotten wood before it becomes a bigger chore.
If outside window trim is rotting, is good chance it can be getting into your walls and causing bigger issues you have not seen yet.
And please add your location to your profile. It is a big help to others to know what weather conditions you put up with, are you on a coast with salt water, down south with blistering sun, up north with ice and snow?
