So I am considering building a smart coffee table, and I am unsure of where to post this:
I'm looking for some hardware,
1: motorised (possibly) hinges that lift the top of the table to a slight angle
2: touch sensor and locking mechanism that could be software controlled (doesn't matter what operating system, I'm probably using a Raspberry Pi, but that is in the air right now) for drawers, it doesn't need to open the drawer, just unlock like those mechanisms that you push to open, only this preferably is a touch sensor or servo (?) of some sort.
3: Touch screen sensors (spill proof, for condensation and such) that could also identify things being placed on it, like a cup.
I'm basing this idea on an old Microsoft project called Surface (no, not the tablet) that was a media coffee table.
Where can I find these things, and what other suggestions would someone have regarding this?
