Please see picture.
What can do in this area? This is the north side left of jacuzzi and is more or less dark area. I shoveled some into the area to bring it up a little.
I want to keep it maintenance free.

Good lord where should I start.
Loose that bush, not doing anything but dropping leaves in the hot tub.
Loose those goofy looking landscape timbers just forming a dam to hold water.
Loose that pile of trash next to the deck.
Get rid of that improperly installed wooden lattice and go with PVC, it's not even supported at the bottom and does not even meet at the corner.

All of above, then put down some landscaping cloth and mulch, bark chips, etc. You can re-lay some kind of edging, just in something that looks like a design.
