I bought a screen door for my rear patio doors. The problem that I am coming to is the side of the door. If you look at the pictures, you will notice that there is a track on the top and bottom of the door. However, on the side of the door, there is nothing, just the frame. The problem is that if I try and put the screen door on like that, there ends up being a small gap along the side when the door shuts. Is the door missing something. It seems like there should be a track of some kind on the side for the door to slide into. Am I missing something and if so, can you direct me to the correct parts that I need?

what does the instruction sheet that came with the door show as far as side jambs/channels? All I've seen have them.

Not the door, the screen.
This screen was not made by the door manufacturer.
Did you check to see if it was compatible with the door you have?

Then get instructions. Go back to the store. Go to the companies web site. Without the instructions, how do you know if you have all the parts?
How do you even know if the door is compatable with your installation?
I have no idea if a part from another company is compatable with the unit you bought.
