sliding patio doors with panel screwed in from outside?

I've seen vinyl doors like this. what's to prevent someone from unscrewing that bracket and taking the panel off from the outside and breaking in?

Nothing, that panel should have been on the inside.
That patio was also pored way to close to the threshold, great way to have water come in under it.

All sliders have the fixed panel on outside.

There are usually 2 "keepers" screwed to the inside of the jam .:vs_cool:
