Hi,
I have a Slant Fin CHS Boiler that was installed a little over a year ago. It has been functioning perfectly-however, I've noticed twice recently that I've gotten an alert on the digital display. It reads: Alert 550, Delta T inlet/outlet limit was exceeded.
I saw this a couple weeks ago, and looked in the manual, which doesn't provide any further information about what this means. I cleared the alert, and I just noticed it again today-not sure exactly how long ago the alert came up.
It doesn't seem to be affecting the function of the boiler (I have hot water radiant heat), but I'd like to know what it means, and if it's something I should be concerned about. Thanks in advance.

It means the temp of the water going out of the boiler is higher then it should be for the temp of the water entering teh boiler.

Could be a loose wire for the circulator. If its a zoned system, could be that when a zone shuts off, not enough water is moving through the boiler.
