I need to drill a hole in glass take a #10 screw. Can someone tell me what the diameter of the hole needs to be in inches or mm's

3 / 16 inch might work, since that is the suggested diameter as found here: https://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-information/Wood-Screws/Wood-Screw-Diameter.aspx

Might want to double check with an example hole to ensure the threads don't grab the glass.

Standard clearance for a #10, which measures 3/16" (.1875") is usually 13/64" (.203"), about .015" of clearance.

Why #10 screw? Glass should not be hanging on the screws. Also I would make the hole big enough for a bushing for the screw. The hole should be 1/16 larger all around for less than perfectly squarely driven screw. If against a stud wall, you want to confirm the stud centers then mark them on the glass.

Make sure the glass isn't tempered also or you'll be in for a bad day.
