i cant get a picture of this, so i understand if you cant answer. Im just really curious.
At my future husband's house, the overhead light in his bedroom has fallen and is hanging by the wires. They shut off the power to his room so that its not a fire hazard, but now that the wires are exposed, i can see that there are six wires going into that fixture. Why?
There are three blacks, two whites, and a red. the three blacks are crimped together, the two whites are connected to the white on the fixture, and the red is connected to the black on the fixture. This confuses me:huh:. This fixture is the end of a series and does not jump to anything else. There is only one switch.
