My wholesale supplier is now selling Sioux Chief 1/4 turn angle stop valves.
I've been using Eastman valves and Plumb Well valves (from the same distributor), and have no complaints.
Anybody tried them?

We started using Wolverine Brass angle and straight stops. They have a replaceable ceramic disk cartridge and don't cost much more than the others. If you hold one side by side with another brand, it's a joke. The quality is so much better and they're rebuildable.

A lot of the other quarter turn angle stops have a plastic barrel inside or even worse, a chrome plated brass ball. Even worse, because when the chrome plating starts peeling, the valve leaks and you have to replace the whole valve. The only problem with the Wolverine Brass valves is that the chrome plating is so thick that a 5/8" box wrench won't fit the supply nut.

I haven't knowingly used SC stops. But they are a good company. I use a lot of their other products with no issues- Love the Finish Line Drains and cleanouts

For comp stops I use Brass Craft. Since I use Uponor I go with Propex
