shower curb

On the outside/ entry side of the shower curb do you carry up the bathroom floor tiles or use the shower tiles.? I have two different colors, light for the shower and darker for the bathroom floor.

I know it is just a personal preference thing but what does everyone generally do?

Bud I always enjoy your input to the various postings. So if Bud says floor tiles I'll value his opinion and advice. Floor tiles it is.

Besides I have extra floor tiles and only one shower tile left.

Well that's just my personal feelings. In my minds-eye I see the dividing line just inside the curb. I would also use the bath floor tile on the curb cover. Just depends what parts are available.:)

With a curbless shower, I like to include a drip area outside the shower using the shower floor tile in that case.

There are no rules, you can do anything you think looks good.:)
oh well

oops too late on that. I used the shower wall tile for the top curb.
I hate tiled curb tops, solid piece of marble or granite is the way to go.

Ok, so know one asked my opinion.:)

I considered that option, if I remember it was more money and I never found a good match
