Just finished putting these panels up, they're painted ultra pure white in an eggshell. The trim (not yet installed) will also be the same color in semi gloss.

The room is Benjamin Moore Light Pewter. I'm going to paint the top and bottom wall a darker color. Would like some opinions if I should use something in the same color family.

The darkest color in this shade is Bear Creek which lean more towards brown

A shade lighter is eagle rock, which stays more of the greyish tone (i like)

I would leave them white. White goes with every other colour.

If you paint them, then you're going to have to consider how any new colour would go with those panels when you repaint that room. If you leave them white, they'll go with every colour in the rainbow.

Panels will be white, im refering to the upper and lower unfinished walls, my thoughts if they are darker and the panels are white it would make the panels "pop" and the way i laid the panels it gives the illusion of the room being wider than it is.
