I'm pulling apart the kitchen cabinets to get to a piece of cast iron pipe which is clogged or collapsed, found the original oak flooring in this condition. It's completely dry and covered by two layers of wood that go over the 2x4 framing, should I replace it now since I have access? I'm not sure if the rot will spread on it's own over time or if it will stay were it's at as long as it doesn't get wet again. I stuck the nail in the two worst parts by hand with minimal force to show how 'soft' it is.

Thanks,
Bill
