I've got a relatively new Whirlpool dishwasher (model WDT730PAHZ) where the dishes are remaining wet even though they're hot. So, the heating element appears to be ok so I'm wondering about the fan. I can hear what I think to be the fan motor running during the drying cycle but I don't feel any airflow from what I believe is the fan exhaust vent on the door.
Should I be feeling anything?

I believe that the vent shown in your photo is to allow some air circulation to cool the electronics inside the door panel. Based on what I’ve seen on a couple of websites on how to replace the fan, the steam exits at the bottom left of the door.

Ah, so maybe that's the inlet rather than the outlet. Thanks.

Ok, I'm an idiot. I dug out the manual in hopes of locating the fan exhaust in a diagram. Was reading and realized I hadn't been using a rinse aid. Bought some and it's all good now. 🤦‍♂️
