Ceiling Wall Lighting Ceiling fan Room

The idea of a short worries me. I just had new can lights installed and this didn't happen before. One bulb, I think a new one, flickers on and off.

The other day a door was accidently slammed and this bulb went off.

Would that be a short or bulb? I'm thinking if it was a short all the bulbs would flicker.

Are the light bulbs screwed tightly in the sockets?

Mj, I don't know if the can lights are on same circuit. I had to make 3 trips to buy this bulb. First got a base too big, then got one that was a different color. But its worth trying another bulb just to satisfy my curiousity. Thanks

If it was a short, you would be tripping the Circuit Breaker every time you go to reset it. It is an open that is probably due to bad lamp holders. Especially if the bulbs are above the limits stated. The other could by the wiring going bad. You need to pull the fixture and check out everything.
