Hi to all, I recently had a 2 ton fujitsu installed to heat/cool about 750 sq.ft. Because of somewhat limited locations for install the unit has a wall in front of it at about 14'.The vents are pointed at the ground and I think the are is going acroos the floor,up the wall and back to the cieling where the air intake for the unit is located.Could a hard wire thermostat located somewhere else stop the cycling?I tried turning on a cieling fan thats near buy but even on low the unit never shut.My average consumption is around 40kw a day and 50kw on laundry days. Thanks in advance for any help

Hi,about 14', I have a tech coming overthis morning to check out the unit.what would be the problems with a wired remote?
Im presuming the unit is short cycling post not specifyig ,,,if its short cycling on the sensor/temp contol within the unit ,,,gotta ask why ? is space around sensor satified in temp ? if so the relocating of the temp, sensor will allow the unit to run longer possiably making they unit area colder an may ice up unit ,,,,, all this based on if the unit is cycling on the temperature sensor/thermostat now ,,

I really dont know much about hvac as you can probably tell from my post.My unit has been going on and off on the inside about every 8 min when the house was cold but not as often when the room is up to temp.I thought maybe it was caught in a cold/warm loop because the wall in front of the unit was to close.I had been shutting off the unit at night. The tech that came over said the distance from the wall was not an issue and to leave it on at night so as not to yo-yo the house temp.He did'nt seem like an expert to me and said he has installed a 4 head unit in his house but it operated a little different than mine.He said his unit seems to turn on and off alot and he felt this was normal especially since no codes show on the unit.I dont know,I will see how the next couple days go and keep an eye on my house meter.I have the unit on heat the fan on auto and plan to set it to 60 for the night.
