I use the dewalt equivalent... Do you have an impact driver? I believe they are just made of hardened steel so they stand up better to the impact motion/hits of an impact driver. So yes, they last a little longer than normal bits

I use shockwave almost exclusively. Do they last longer? I don't know. They grip screws very well and when it comes time to remove them from the bit holder, that little knock around them makes it easier to grip than a flat shanked bit.

I like them. In my non-scientific tests they seem to work better than the DeWalts. Grip well and last pretty long. I just buy a 10 or 12 pack every now and then until they all wear out or disappear.

You know, until this thread I never even thought of bits as usable parts. I always tend to lose or misplace them long before they strip or start to slip. You learn something new every day I suppose haha
