Architectural shingles generally are 3 bundles to 100 sq ft, 34 x 3 would put you in ballpark bout 102 , 3 tab shingles are the old flat style and they are generally 4 bundles per 100 square ,now do the math , and don't forget to figure in starter shingles and cap shingles depending on your style of ridge vent.

Most times 3 tabs are 3 bundles to a square. I have seen many newer architecturals that are 4 to a square.

Sixeighteen is right bout shingles ,I had it backwards, but definitely beware of types of architect shingles the better a lot are usually the thicker thus making them less in each bundle. Rated by years like 30 40 50 years etc.

There could be 3,4, or yes even 5 bundles per 100 sq. ft.

If you have a product in mind just look at the product info on the web or on the bundle itself for coverage.
