my neighbor has a rented condo- She asked me to cut and lay sheet vinyl over the existing tile floor- I'm not crazy about it - but it's not my bathroom- All the other bathrooms in most of the units have the same thing. What type of adhesive would I use to at least glue down the ends but not make it so hard to get back up?

The tile joints will telegraph thru the vinyl.

If you must use a loose lay vinyl. Consider Coretec Plus.

Ceramic tile? Any vinyl-backed vinyl will work for a while. I would use Flexitec, it is cheap for a temporary floor.
