okay i am going to be getting on of these:

after next Friday. how should i prep the spot it is going, my thoughts are

place 9 concrete pavers on top of a weed barer, make them level
install a boarder around it and fill the area with stone.

#1 I would never buy one of these.
Reasons being, way to flimsy, near impossable to keep the door working right.
I've only installed one but have torn down dozens.
Unless you build a full platform floor out of 2 X 8 pressure treated and at least pressure treated decking boards or Advantec subflooring you going to have issues.

sorry didn't ask for an option on the shed, i have worked with them for the last 15 years, and know about the problems with them.

just a option, I have seen a few Tough sheds and they have a decent idea for foundation.
They use a heavy gauge metal stud for foundation, is basically 4 sides with studs running in between and whole thing is sitting on concrete blocks.

As others have said, not worth the $300 for the product you are buying, then build a foundation, and then pay extra for a floor. Could build something cheaper then what you are paying now.
But using metal studs for bearing walls as a foundation, is a cheap alternative and should work for you.

it does include the floor kit, and i am going to be setting that in on the concrete pavers.

What size are the pavers?
How much does the shed weight?
What kind of soil is it going on?

If you've been working with them for 15 years haven't you run across how to build a proper foundation for them?

right now i am debating about doing a full perimeter of 15 3/4 square pavers, and just doing a 9 6x17" pavers. the shed its self wont weight more then 300 lbs between the metal and the deck. the soil is a clay like material.
