We are looking at this shed with a dormer/transom and I'm curious if it is built correctly? Worried about any snow loads on the roof as I don't see a ridge beam, or any sort of cross members to keep the walls from bowing out in the middle. One added thing is I would like to add a few solar panels on the flat part of the roof to charge some marine batteries to get lights and maybe an outlet in the shed.

Size will be 10x16, near 8' walls.

Thanks,
HD

You have truss plate/gussets on those rafters which usually indicates it was engineered by professionals, your average rough carpenter cannot press those on and they are only sold under special agreements to truss manufactures with the stipulation of using their special truss design software so you are probably good to go. If you are still worried about it ask for the engineering paper work it should be provided freely and you can have an independent engineer check the numbers.
