you know the programs that change the color/whatnot of your house.
is there a program that can put a shed in your yard ? to see how different ones look and fit.

I can't think of anything free or paid that wouldn't have a HUGE learning curve to pull it off. I've seen some pretty amazing things done with Sketchup which is free.

Do you have a picture of the shed you want?

My comment wasn't meant to be sarcastic. If you have a digital camera, (or a cell phone with a decent enough camera), and a picture of the shed , you can put the two together good enough to give you an idea on how it would look. You just have to have a picture of both the shed, and your yard.

Try to take a picture of your yard at the same angle that the shed in your picture is sitting, then cut, copy, paste, erase, etc. It won't be photoshop perfect, but will work to give you a good idea of how it would look.

that is kinda the problem, i can't decide what i want ("if" i even build one = i don't really need it). so i would pick a few from the net.

If you had the images just about any image editing software could make it happen well enough to suit your needs. In my mind the hardest thing to get right is scaling the shed images to match your yard image. Some item of a known width and height in your yard image would help.
