I have a 8ft wood shadowbox gate that is 42 inches wide and extremely heavy.Im looking for a idea as to a support in addition to the hinges.I set a new post and many hinges.Still sags (and may loosen in time)due to weight on hinges.It has pea gravel under it no concrete.Was thinking of a roller or wheel idea with maybe a small concreate slab where it closes(with a slanted strongtie in concrete) to take weight off the door when closed.
Any ideas are appreciated.Door weighs 90lbs ,more when wet.

roller will work

I guess ill just use a roller design directly under door with a concrete slab to roll up onto as closes..
