When my home was built I had a sub panel put in my work shop to support my workshop and the solar net metering inverters.
Now I wanted to add from the main a sub panel to the barn. Just for lighting and the air compressor. I ran three #4 and a #6 for ground. I setup the sub panel with its separate ground. When I went to tie in the cables to the main I ran into a problem.
There isn't a lug on the neutral bar to support my #4 wire. This is a 200 amp QO panel. How do I make this work ??
