Second layer of paper?

Central Florida. I am hanging HardiePlank over existing plywood siding. I know there is a layer of felt under the ply. Do I still want a moisture barrier over the existing siding? Small job, so cost is unimportant! Existing siding is 25 years old, zero rot.
