You are doing pretty well already. You can remove the cover of the burner box and with a bottle brush clean any dirt from the burners and intake area. Carefully look where the air intake pipe attaches to that box and inside there is a circular plastic strainer thingy. If a leaf/wasps etc gets sucked into the pipe it will end up there and cause restricted airflow and problems. Don't move the drain pipes to the trap as they get brittle and crack and are EXPENSIVE. If you can remove the flames sensor you can clean it with fine emory paper or steel wool. Not much else to do other than check the intake/exhaust pipes outside. If you have a concentric kit/pipe in pipe deal outside put your fingers in the intake pipe and check for spider webs once a year. The humidifier should be cleaned annually and sometimes with CLR to descale it.
