Hello,

I purchased a new home from Mid-Atlantic Builders about 3 months ago. Shortly after I moved in I noticed that the ceiling did not look flat. I asked the builder about that he told me all homes are like that but I refuse to believe that. I have had plenty more issues this is just the one they absolutely refuse to own up to.

When you look at the pictures is this the standard? If not how do I fix it?

Poor drywall work. They did not feather their joints out far enough and that left humps/ridges. An easy fix? For a skilled drywaller, yes. He will have to re-mud those joints feathering them out properly. It will be a messy, dusty job.

Can see something going on but hard to know exactly without being on site.
Is there not at least a one year warranty?
If this is really a new house and not just a new to you house if it was mine I'd be getting some estimates to fix it from some real drywall finishers and have everything in writing, if it was me I would even pay them for there time.
Contact the guy that subbed this out again and see what he says.
If he's not going to fix it I'd be contacting the bank where you got the loan and let them know what's going on.
If he's doing that poor a work there not going to make more loans on his houses.
If it's a "new" there's no way you should have to pay to make it right.
