Hope this is in the right place :)

I'd like to seal gaps between my wall and floor, but there is w/w carpet. I tried caulk in a small area, but that didn't turn out too well.

Do I have any options?

Thanks in advance.

When i had to paint, I would tape the carpet and push down while the base trim was painted. DAP water based spray foam may work also. Smallest bead while holding the carpet down in short sections. It doesn't stick and vacuums up easily. You may lose all of it if vacuum, but worth a try for easy and little mess application.

No, you will ruin the carpet and lose your damage deposit when you move out.
Best bet would be to poke something into the crack.
You need something called backer rod:

Maybe the 1/4" size will work for you.
Install with the blunt end of a paint stir stick.

Pull the edge of the carpet back and put lots of boric acid under the wall and reinstall the carpet.
Metal frame doors should have several tablespoons of boric acid poured into them.
Electrical boxes should have boric acid put in there.
Where pipes come through the drywall lots of boric acid in there then the holes should be completely sealed.

If you have to bomb. ( Should )

Bag all clothes
Bag all dishes.
Open all cabinets, boxes etc..
Turn all furniture over.

Set one bomb per area working your way out the exit door
Wait 24 hrs. to return.
Vacuum house good
Wipe down surfaces.
Do the laundry and dishes.

You will be bug free while others won't unless they do the same.
No exterminator will be successful unless the entire building is done at the same time.

Above. Your links are urethane based foam and will stick to whatever it touches and hard to remove. As mentioned, will ruin the carpet.

Above foam, in past, was almost no good in that it was very weak kind of foam. But I thought good for your application.
Housedesigner idea is good although the gap may be too little. You can also use string or such and tap into the gap.

Using a long piece of thin metal. There are joint compound knife 12" and longer. Even heavy enough ruler will work. Press the carpet away to reveal the gap and use whatever you like. With capet swept away, I think caulk could work very well. If you get some caulk on the knife, wipe away, each time. These are what pros do.
