Hello there. In my basement i have 3 vents that are cut into the main vent. The old owners hacked into the and put on vent covers as they used the basement for extra bedroom. The basement is unfinished so i have easy access to the vents. Today it was a 107 
degrees heat index. Since i dont need the vents i want to remove the covers and seal off the vent for more pressure the rest of the house. I just dont know what the best was to go about. I've seen people put up a piece of card board with duct tape but that just doesnt seem right to me. Any help would be appriciated. Thank you
