I have a 75 year old slab roof on a garage that is leaking in 2-3 cracks.

Should I grind them out and use a poly sealer or some sort of epoxy resin? Do I need the structural bonding or just a good seal?

Thanks.

we 'chase' the cracks w/u-shaped diamond blade on a 4" grinder then seal w/high weight methyl methacrylate (hwmma),,, when that's done, we install 3/8" tape in the bottom of the sawed slot & seal w/polyurethane joint sealant,,, don't complain about the $ OR that you can't find it in your local apron/vet store,,, we do this work for a living.

following materials will both 'weld' conc back together & stop leaks:

finally there's ccs - http://www.concreteconstruction.net...aces/chemco-systems-ccs-epoxy-healer-sealer_o

remember proper prep is the key to a lasting repair while anything less is just a temp patch til it rains again,,, good luck !

since the stuff's not as cheap as roofing gunk, we dribble some of the hwmma into the crack along w/CLEAN silica sand to form a block against excess leakage,,, when that cures, we then apply a 2nd coat bringing the level up to grade

i'm changing the originally posted method based on your pics - don't bother w/sealing a 2nd time w/polyurethane sealant,,, IF i were you, i'd pressure wash the slab 1st using 3,500psi, 4gpm, & turbo nozzle - we would
