Hello,

I noticed some bees getting between the sidings and the brick exterior (please see pictures). Is this gap supposed to be sealed/caulked? If yes, what is the best material to use for a clean finish?

Thanks

I'd just spray some wasp spray in there after dark.
Caulking would just fail and be a nightmare to try and apply.

You do not want to seal/caulk any of that (well you could caulk the bottom of the frieze board on the left of pic #2. It would take a calking 202 level to make it look nice).

What they didn't put in the brochure is that water DOES get in behind vinyl siding. That water needs to be able to escape so sealing the bottom is not a good idea.

Another thing the brochure leaves out is that vinyl siding is an insect egg laying/hatching mecca so as mentioned spraying is really your only defence.
