I have a section of the hardwood floor in my house that has gotten pretty badly scuffed over time, causing it to appear scratched and pale.

I'd like to apply some finish to restore the look without redoing the entire floor, but am having a hard time finding advice that addresses the scratches, color, and minimizes the restore effort, since the rest of the floor looks good.

One thing, you cannot place data on your Google server and share it with the world. That is not something you should ever do. Now everyone has access to your share.

The only way to make this look right, is to sand the entire floor and finish the wood in a stain or oil of your choice. You will never get it to blend in with the original.
