:thumbsup: I'm new to the site and had to find out about the content of the plaster in my lathe & plaster home. Thank you to Pali Bob for confirming my suspicion that there might be asbestos in the plaster mix. I'll try to follow up on testing. I used to do a lot more home restore projects - refinishing furniture, polyurethaning the floor, rebuilting radiator covers. Not at this point in time. I am a high school chemistry teacher & time is very limited. My own garden has deteriorated, but I spend a lot of time working with students on the high school's garden. I'm still interested in DIY projects, but I'm not even on the internet much. Hope to visit occasionally.
