I have a Saturn wagon with a V6 engine (year 2000) that the engine lopes at low rpms. Step on the gas and its as smooth as can be. Idles ok, but start out and the engine will lope at low rpms and if you are running down the road and have just a slight pressure on the gas pedal. Any Ideas?

Check the TPS voltage as well as the IAC.

Many times the IAC can get fouled with carbon.

1. check for vacuum leaks
2. clean EGR valve and tubes leading to/from it.

Does it have a check engine light on?

Agree with the others. Not a cause, but how many miles on it and has the timing belt been changed?
