Hi, trying to sand stained 100 year old yellow pine stair treads using my little 5 inch Bosch random orbital sander and 40 grit paper. Thought it was going to go fast but it's taking forever and I'm using about 4 sanding disks per tread just to get down to bare wood much less taking out all the dings and other damage. Never used a real floor edger sander but would I be better off just waiting until I can rent one on Monday? Will I save significant time? Thanks
