Out of curiousity, after drywall has been sanded and primed (latex), is it possible to sand down any ridges that may be lingering? Or is it best to skim coat again to feather it out and prime again?

Had this question asked to me and I always thought it best to refeather the area and prime again. Just wanted to see if it is even possible to sand through the primer and then sand out the mud again.

Once the mud is primed sanding is not a good option---I suggest adding more mud--sanding and re priming the flaws.---Mike---

Yes, Mike is correct. Lightly sand the primer and then touch up or skim any ridges, pinholes, scratches and other deficiencies. Remember to sand and spot prime your touchups before paint.
