I am using an old Clarke S8 drum sander that until now has been running like a champ. It is on 220 dedicated circuit. I am trying to make my last cut with 80 grit, and the motor seems to be bogging down. It ran good through the 36 and 60 grit cuts with no issues. I have looked at the brushes and they look like they have more than half left to them. Any suggestions?

Paper the right size? If it is too tight it might be binding up the drums.

Im positive the paper is the right size. But didn't know about the paper being to tight. Does the drum increase in size as it spins?
