Hi all

Samsung Microwave mod. SM1-181656T ( THIS COULD BE GT )
My daughters microwave handle snapped right off the two screws holding it on. Right in her 10 yr. old hand yep ! they don't make them like they used to

I think I found a replacement handle from Repair Clinic on the web.

I have studied the door, I see that the screws come from inside the door frame with no way other then splitting open the door sections.
I am handy but I just don't want to start prying things apart.
Is there a repair guy willing to give me some heads up on getting to these two screws.

Deck hand

PS the house is a rental and no papers on the unit.

Thanks I found a youtube Video showing how to pry the panels of the door open.
Now I will order the handle

be very careful prying it apart, that plastic will crack and snap very easily. Take your time using a small putty knife

As mentioned, taking your time is the way to go. I run the sections in the dishwasher and they usually clean up pretty well. Careful with the glass too, my experience is that it falls out, not good if you aren't expecting it. :)
