I am working on a remodel project. I have open walls and ceiling, all wood construction, to run wire through. My project will be inspected in the end so with code in mind, can more than one cable (nm) be pulled through a drilled hole? If so, is there a max per size of hole and/or size of wire? I'm running 14/2, 14/3 and 12/2
Thanks in advance

I use a 7/8 or 1" spade/ auger bit and only run 2 cables per hole, code probably specifies something for hole size, but I am not sure and am too lazy too to look it up right now. As 220/221 said there is a min. of 1 1/4" of setback from both faces of the stud so if exceed this or use a larger drill bit you need nail plates.
