I have about 9 romex wires that I will need to run in one tight area (between two studs).

Two questions:

1) Is it OK for me to stack two wires and fasten them with the same staple to the studs?

2) Are there any products available to run and fasten these in a neat and orderly fashion? It will be a mix of 12 and 14 ga copper romex.

Try a 3M Stak-it. Gardner-Bender and Arlington also make the same thing.

Well what I would suggest is nail in an empty staple and zip-tie all the wires to the staple but leave it nice and loose so there not tight around each other that way the heat can dissipate

An inspector might call you on it.
