Hey all,

I'm running a bundle of CAT6 data cables and coax cables (approx 7 cables) through my basement joists, and I wanted to know if it's OK to also route my doorbell wire and my ADT security system wire (20 gauge) within this bundle. My 12-2 electric wires are at least a foot away from all this to avoid interference, but would doorbell wire and the security wire also cause interference when run in parallel with CAT6 and quad-shield RG6 coax, or is that not an issue? Thanks.

Not an issue at all. Both the RG-6 and Cat6 have enough shielding and twisting to resist almost any interference, even most 120V (unless of course they are bundled and run long distances).
