Hello Everyone......

Have a question about the tines on my tiller. Can they be sharpened and is it a good idea to sharpen them so that they cut better when tilling new ground?

Yes, and Yes.

Get a BASTARD file and hand sharpen, or use a disc grinder, careful, too much heat and you ruin them.

Or if removable take them to a sharpening guy, think Foley Belsaw specialist.

And avoid rocky ground.
