Hello all,

I am doing some interior decorating for a bedroom. I have a closet with no doors that is 4 x ~7ft. The idea I have is to cut lengths of LED rope light (like this) and hang them like a curtain. I've drawn a simple diagram here:

What I need to know is how to wire all the lengths at the top so they are all connected in series and I can plug them all in using one cord. I know basically how to connect and plug in rope lights but not in this fashion.

Any help is appreciated!

Sometimes things aren't worth the effort........:wink: If your going to constantly move those lights strings to get into the closet they won't stay on very long as the multiple connections you going to have to make will eventually begin to fail.

Well I know that there are flaws but for general purpose (maybe NOT being used in front of a closet, instead hanging as decoration) how would I set up multiple connections like that?

What type of connection does it use? You haven't told us a thing about the lights. Is there a remote transformer? How are they wired?

Ah, sorry, I should've specified. I'm probably going to be using these lights http://www.coolstuffcheap.com/dl-2w-150ft-p-1013.html BUT, I'm on the ropes on where to buy from. @OnthePike: Thanks for the input. Though I think I have an idea of how to set this up now that I've looked at the types of connections used in rope lighting. I'm probably going to test it by buying a short length and a few connectors.
