Hi -

I live in Los Angeles. I am rocking a 400 sq ft garage (4/12) that previously had no ventilation (no gable vent, no ridge vent and no soffit vents). I have a small section that is vaulted and wanted to use a continuous ridge vent (commonly used in the northeast) in conjunction with the soffit vents that I put in. For some reason, the local Depot and Lowes do not carry any continuous ridge vents which has made me question my use of it. Any insight and guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

When installed they are continuous, but should come in sections. Post a link for what you think is not continuous.

I believe the OP is correct. I just made 5 random Home Depots "my store" and sure enough none of the 5 have ridge vents stocked. I can have them shipped to the store or my house. But their ain't a one in "aisle 10 bay 4".
Seems odd but I was 0-5 in my attempt to find them in stock

Hope you do not mean the vents that come in a roll.
There not going to allow enough air flow and installed wrong they look like a snake eating a rat.
