Dear gentlemen (and ladies),

i noticed some water dripping from my roof. it occurs at the same time every day, in the late morning after a cold night. this is significant because during heavy rains there is no leak whatsoever. but it drips on warm mornings after cold nights.

after i pulled away the bubble foil and looked at the wood, this is what i found: cracks and some mold, a little water damage.

gentlemen, how do i repair this problem? i did not attach pictures of the outside roof shingles because everything there looks good and there is no leak when it rains.

thanks for your time and i will be happy to post additional pictures if anyone requires more information.

Hi Bamboozie and welcome to the forum.
As Neal said, you have a condensation issue that is forming frost or ice and melting with the early morning warmer tamps.

We need a full description of your ceiling from the inside ceiling surfact to the shingles on top.
What is your climate region, nearest large city?
What is up there for insulation?
What do you have for ventilation?
